AdventHealth Waterman is seeking a mission-driven Advanced Practice Provider (APP) — APRN or Physician Assistant — to join our thriving, expanding outpatient pulmonology and sleep medicine practice located at 1876 Nightingale Lane in Tavares, FL. You’ll be joining a well-established Pulmonary and Sleep Medicine practice experiencing significant growth—making this the perfect time for an APP to make a meaningful impact. Our team includes five providers, three of whom are Board Certified in both Pulmonary and Sleep Medicine, creating a rich clinical environment that fosters continuous learning, mentorship, and collaboration.

As part of AdventHealth Pulmonary and Sleep Medicine, you will help serve a growing patient population while improving access to high-quality pulmonary and sleep care within our community.

What You’ll Do

  • Provide high-quality outpatient pulmonary care to a diverse patient panel in a supportive, mission-driven environment
  • Manage approximately 15+ patients per day with the support of an experienced clinical team
  • Maintain a consistent clinic schedule of 36 patient-facing hours per week, plus a dedicated administrative half-day
  • Collaborate closely with seasoned pulmonologists, including Dr. Cirelli and Dr. Montoya, along with a highly skilled clinical team
  • Work within a practice equipped with robust in-house diagnostics, including:
    • Pulmonary Function Testing
    • Six-Minute Walks
    • Overnight Oximetry
    • Home Sleep Studies
  • Learn and grow alongside providers who perform advanced hospital-based procedures, such as:
    • Diagnostic bronchoscopy
    • Ion robotic bronchoscopy
    • EBUS bronchoscopy
  • Support coordinated care with the Cancer Institute, particularly through the collaborative Lung Nodule Clinic
  • Build meaningful, long-term relationships with patients focused on pulmonary and sleep wellness

What We’re Looking For

  • Advanced Practice Provider (APP) credential required — APRN or Physician Assistant
  • 0–2 years of experience welcome — ideal for early-career providers excited to specialize
  • Prior experience in pulmonology or sleep medicine is helpful but not required
  • Strong mission alignment and enthusiasm for whole-person care
  • Excellent communication skills, professionalism, and a collaborative spirit
  • A team-oriented mindset with a desire to grow, learn, and contribute to shared success
