GI Hospitalist Overview:

  • Starting Salary at $700,000 with signing bonus and relocation!!  NO STATE INCOME TAX
  • The GI Hospitalist would have an option for a primary campus to cover at either AdventHealth Fish Memorial or AdventHealth DeLand to cover inpatient GI consults from the floor and emergency department.
  • Position would cover one or the other, not intended to cover between both locations
  • Could also cross cover at AdventHealth DeLand just down the road
  • Ready access to endoscopy for procedures and should be comfortable with all aspects of Gastroenterology, capability for ECPR and EUS are available
  • Our network is aligned with our Digestive Health Institute providing multidisciplinary care to patients across the spectrum of digestive disease.
  • 7 on/7 off; 182 shifts/year – APP support will also be provided in the hospital setting

    • Home Sleep Studies
  • Learn and grow alongside providers who perform advanced hospital-based procedures, such as:
    • Diagnostic bronchoscopy
    • Ion robotic bronchoscopy
    • EBUS bronchoscopy
  • Support coordinated care with the Cancer Institute, particularly through the collaborative Lung Nodule Clinic
  • Build meaningful, long-term relationships with patients focused on pulmonary and sleep wellness
